An ill girl sat and stared into the deep blue yonder
What will Heaven be like, she wondered?
Will the streets really be made of gold?
It is going to be an awesome place like she had been told
She wanted to know how many mansions would be in Heaven
And would she have her own?
Or would she have to share with someone?
She wondered how many Pearly Gates she would see
And would she really be free?
She thought about what she would eat in Heaven?
Then she asked what will happen to this sickly body of mine?
She heard there would be no sickness, and to her that was fine
Will God sit on a Heavenly Throne?
And will we forever worship Him and His only Son?
Do the angels really rejoice when a soul comes to Christ?
Will I have many things to do in my eternal life?
When babies and children die, do they go to Heaven?
When babies get aborted, do they go back to the Father?
She asked how big is God’s throne and what does it look like?
And does Christ really sit on the Father’s right?
She also wondered how big is the Heavenly Kingdom?
And does it have enough room for all the saved to come?
What will I do throughout eternity?
Will I continuously worship God and sit at His Feet?
And will I see and know my loved ones that have gone there?
Oh, and someone told me I will see fruit trees everywhere.
Will the Heavenly Father know who I am?
Or will we all look the same?
Will there be Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall?
Maybe I’ll get the chance to play ball?
I guess I won’t know the answers until I’m in Heaven.

     Christ Is Always with Me

When I wake up in the morning, he is by my side.

Christ is with me at school, and his love I cannot hide.

When I sit down to bless and eat my lunch,

I know that he is with me and I have to thank him a bunch.

When others talk about me and do bad things to me, I am not afraid,

Because Christ is with me and he will protect me, he said.

When I go to bed I pray to him at night,

For I know he will lead and guide me to do what is right.

      I Must Die ( A Skit )

Cast: Christ and a girl or boy between ages 6-8

Girl—Christ, I heard about you when you were born.

Christ—What did you hear, my child?

Girl—I heard you were born in a manager and you were born to die for me.

Christ—Yes, I came so you can have everlasting life.

Girl—Christ, what is everlasting life, and why will you die to give it to me?

Christ—Everlasting life is life after death, and I must die so you and all the people in the world who accept me can live forever.

Girl—But Christ, I am alive. We are all living.

Christ—My precious child, I know you are alive and I am alive too. But before you can have everlasting life, I must die.

Girl—Who told you that you must die?

Christ—My Father in heaven said that I must die for you.

Girl—You mean, you will die for me?

Christ—Yes, my little one, and for all the rest of the world.

Girl—Is God okay with you doing that?

Christ—Yes. It is his divine will for my life while I am here.

Girl—How will you die?

Christ—I will die on a cross

Girl—Can you tell me again why you are doing this?

Christ—I am doing this to take your sins and all the other people’s sins to the cross with me so you won’t have to live in them anymore.

Girl—My sins? What do you mean?

Christ—Well, do you always listen to your parents? Do you tell the truth all the time?

Girl—No, sir, I don’t.

Christ—Those are sins that I must die for.

Girl—Christ, you are really nice.

Christ—There is something else I must tell you. When I die I won’t stay dead. I will come back to life.

Girl—Wow! How can you do that?

Christ—I can’t, but my Father can. He has the power to do all things.

Girl—Where is your Father?

Christ—My Father lives in heaven and he watches over us every day.

Girl—You mean, when I do bad things he can see me?

Christ—Yes, he can, for he sees all things.

Girl—Is he my Father too?

Christ—He is your heavenly Father also.

Girl—When you take my sins away after you die on the cross, will I sin again?

Christ—Yes, you will, for you are not perfect. But because I will go to the cross and die for your sins, you have the right, if you believe in me, to ask me for forgiveness. I will then talk it over with my Father and he will forgive you if you meant it from the bottom of your little heart.

Girl—What happens if I continue to sin?

Christ—God will be unhappy with you and he will have to punish you. But if you believe in me, your goal should be to try to sin no more.

Girl—I love you, Christ, and I don’t want to make God mad. I will always try to do what is right.

Christ—This will be pleasing to my Father

Girl—Christ, when you come back to life, where will you go?

Christ—I will go back to heaven to be with my heavenly Father. I will sit on the throne with him, watching the good and the bad.

Girl—Can I go with you?

Christ—No, my child, not now. But one day you will, because I will prepare a place for all who believe in me.

Girl—When I need to talk to you, can I?

Christ—Yes, my precious child, you can always talk to me. When I leave here, I will leave my Holy Spirit to live in you and comfort you.

Girl—So I won’t be alone?

Christ—No, my precious child. I will always be in your heart, loving you and guiding you to do what is right. May joy and peace be with you until I see you again.

Girl—Good-bye, Christ. I love you. And I will tell all the people I know and meet about you and the good news you have shared with me
